Why is it that when it comes to Spring you feel like everything in your whole house needs refreshing or in my case replacing!
I think when the sun shines through the windows it certainly brings things to light that we all missed when the days were dull and dark!
I keep looking at the rugs in my lounge and conservatory and thinking it’s really about time I either give in and throw them away or get someone in to give them a jolly good clean and then put them away until next winter.
Spring cleaning my kitchen and bathrooms are always top of my list. That time when you spend a good few hours and empty the whole contents of your kitchen cupboards and the entire bathroom and then blitz it literally from floor to ceiling. Putting it all back gives you such a great feeling though and I like to sneak in new tea towels or bath towels to give it a fresh new look too!
Windows is another major thing. The window cleaners do a great job on the outside but unfortunately it makes the insides look like they have never been touched!
I know these jobs all need to be done and dread doing them but once they have been done they certainly make you and your home feel good!
